The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the UGC NET December 2025 session result. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download their scorecards from the official websites. The result includes subject-wise marks, percentile scores, and qualifying status for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Along with the result, NTA has also published the final answer key. Candidates are advised to have their application number and date of birth ready to log in. In case the website slows down due to heavy traffic, candidates can use other official links provided by NTA to log in to their scorecards.

Official websites to check UGC NET December 2025 result

Those who appeared for the UGC NET exam will be able to access their results only from the official NTA websites. The main website to access the NET scorecard is ugcnet.nta.nic.in. This website hosts all the official updates related to the UGC NET exam. In case the website is not opening, candidates can visit the official NTA portal at nta.ac.in. This is the official website of the National Testing Agency. Candidates can navigate to the UGC NET portal through this website.The NTA has advised candidates not to depend on third-party websites. The scorecard will not be sent via post or email. It has to be downloaded online.

Steps to download the scorecard

Once released, candidates will be able to access their UGC NET scorecards by following the steps below.

  1. First, visit the official NTA or UGC NET portal.
  2. Click on the link that reads “UGC NET December 2025 Result” or “Scorecard.”
  3. Enter the application number, date of birth, and security pin.
  4. Click on submit.

The scorecard will appear on the screen. Candidates should download the PDF and take a printout for future use.The UGC NET scorecards will contain information including the total marks, paper wise marks, percentile and the candidates’ qualifying status. It will also indicate whether the candidate has qualified for JRF, Assistant Professor, or PhD admission eligibility.

What happens next

Once the results are out, NTA will release the cut, off marks for each category and subject. Only those who meet the prescribed criteria are declared qualified.Candidates who have qualified for JRF will be eligible for fellowship as per UGC rules. Those who have qualified for Assistant Professor can apply for teaching positions in universities and colleges across India.Candidates are advised to carefully check all details on their scorecard.
