The Bank of Baroda has published an official notification regarding the schedule of the examination for the Office Assistant (Peon) recruitment process for the 2025-26 selection cycle. This notification comes after the initial advertisement published by the bank regarding the recruitment process.According to the notification, the recruitment would be on the basis of an online preliminary examination and a main examination. Candidates who have filled the application for the post of Office Assistant must check the date and pattern of the examination, as released by the bank.Preliminary Examination Schedule and FormatThe preliminary online test for the recruitment of a BOB Office Assistant 2026 will be held on 22nd and 23rd February 2026. The prelims online test will have three parts: English Language Knowledge, Elementary Arithmetic, and Psychometric Test (Reasoning).

The candidates are required to obtain the prescribed cut-off marks in each section as well as the overall score to qualify for the main examination. The bank has clarified that an adequate number of candidates will be shortlisted for the next round as per the requirement. There will be negative marking, where 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer, and there will be no penalty for unanswered questions.PET schedule for eligible categoriesAccording to the provisions of the advertisement, the bank will conduct online Pre-Examination Training for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Minority Communities, Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities. The PET will be conducted from February 10, 2026 to February 15, 2026. The eligibility criteria include a minimum educational qualification of 10th pass with local language proficiency. The age limit is 18 to 26 years, which is relaxable as per government rules. The selection procedure includes a preliminary exam, main exam, document verification, and medical test.
