Union Bank Apprentice exam date: Union Bank of India has announced the examination date for Apprentice recruitment under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment drive is being conducted for 1865 vacancies across branches and offices in different parts of the country. According to the official notice, the online examination will be held on June 07, 2026.The application process for the recruitment began on April 29, 2026, and concluded on May 19, 2026. The engagement will be for a one-year apprenticeship training programme. Candidates selected for the programme will receive a monthly stipend ranging between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.Recruitment drive announced for graduate candidatesUnion Bank of India has invited applications from graduate candidates for Apprentice posts. The recruitment process is open to candidates from across India. The bank has stated that applicants must fulfil all eligibility conditions mentioned in the notification before participating in the selection process.The minimum age required for candidates is 20 years, while the maximum age limit is 28 years. The age calculation will be based on April 01, 2026. Candidates applying for the posts must hold a graduate degree from a recognised institution.Selection process to include online testThe selection process for the Apprentice recruitment will consist of an online examination followed by a local language proficiency test. Candidates qualifying in the online examination will be required to appear for the language test as part of the recruitment procedure.The recruitment has been announced for a total of 1865 Apprentice posts. The apprenticeship programme will provide candidates with training exposure in banking operations and related functions during the one-year period.Application fee and recruitment detailsUnion Bank of India had prescribed different application fees for various categories of candidates.
