CSIR NET answer key 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key and question papers with recorded responses for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination today, August 16, 2026. Candidates can access the answer key and response records through the official CSIR-NET portal and challenge the provisional answers within the notified deadline.NTA conducted the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination on July 17 and July 18, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 224 cities and 352 centres. A total of 1,87,739 candidates were registered for the examination.CSIR-NET answer key challenge windowCandidates who are not satisfied with a provisional answer can submit a challenge from August 16 to August 18, 2026. The challenge facility will remain available until 11:00 PM on August 18.A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 is payable for each question challenged. Candidates can pay the fee through credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI until 11:00 PM on August 18. NTA has stated that challenges submitted without successful payment will not be considered.

How to challenge CSIR-NET answer keyCandidates can challenge the provisional answer key by visiting the official CSIR-NET website and selecting the “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key” option. They must log in using their application number and password and enter the displayed captcha.After logging in, candidates can select “View Question Paper” to see their recorded responses. The “Click to view / Challenge Answer Key” option provides access to the provisional key.Candidates must identify the relevant question by its Question ID and select the option or options they wish to challenge. Supporting documents can be uploaded as a single PDF file of up to 500 KB.After reviewing the selected claims, candidates must save the claims and proceed to payment. NTA has stated that the challenge facility is available only once. No modification or further challenge will be permitted after successful payment.What happens after CSIR-NET objectionsChallenges will be examined by a panel of subject experts. If a challenge is found to be correct, NTA will revise the answer key and apply the correction to the responses of all candidates concerned.The result will be prepared using the revised final answer key. NTA will not send individual decisions to candidates regarding acceptance or rejection of their challenges. The answer key finalised after the expert review will be treated as final.ICAR AIEEA PG and AICE PhD answer key 2026NTA has also scheduled the release of the provisional answer keys for ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF/SRF (PhD) 2026 on August 16, 2026. Candidates appearing for these examinations should check the designated NTA agricultural examinations portal for the provisional key, recorded responses and challenge facility.The ICAR AIEEA (PG) examination was conducted in CBT mode on July 4, 2026.
