BSEB Matric Supplementary exam 2026: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the application deadline for the Matric Special and Compartmental Examinations 2026 to April 10, 2026. Previously, the deadline was April 7, 2026. It offers relief to two distinct groups: students who could not appear for the annual Class 10 examination due to unavoidable disruptions and those who fell short in one or two subjects.The Matric Special Examination has been designed as a corrective mechanism for students who could not take the exam due to technical issues. The Compartmental exams are conducted for students who have failed the exam. The Board is expected to declare the results of the special and compartmental examinations by May 31, 2026.

BSEB Matric Supplementary form 2026: Steps to check

School authorities will follow the steps elucidated here to check the BSEB Matric Supplementary exam form 2026:

  • Inform your school authorities about your intention to apply.
  • School logs into the official BSEB portal.
  • Eligibility (compartment/special case) is verified by the school.
  • Student details and subject choices are filled online.
  • Required documents (if any) are uploaded.
  • The application fee is paid through the school.
  • The form is reviewed and submitted by the school.
  • Confirmation receipt is collected for record.

The Bihar School Examination Board has stated once again that the process of applying for Matric Special & Compartment Exams is still time-bound and strictly done through the channel of schools, giving no room whatsoever for any personal applications. The last date for applying has now been postponed till April 10, and institutions have been advised to make sure that applications are made on time. It has become clear from the statements of the Bihar School Examination Board that any application that is not properly verified will not be entertained, and it is the responsibility of the schools to do so.
