The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced the schedule for the Tier-I computer-based test under the CEPTAM-11 recruitment process. The notice was issued by the Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM), which manages recruitment for technical and administrative positions within DRDO.As per the official communication released on March 5, 2026, the Tier-I CBT examination for the applicants of CEPTAM-11 will be conducted on March 23. The examination will be conducted for the candidates who have completed the application process for the recruitment of Senior Technical Assistant-B and Technician-A posts.City Intimation and Admit Card ReleaseAs per the latest update released by CEPTAM, the details regarding the examination centers will be released soon on the official DRDO website. Once the city intimation has been released, the candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website using the link that will be activated online.The applicants will also receive notifications on their registered email accounts and mobile numbers regarding the updates on the admit cards and examination centers. The candidates have been advised to keep an eye on the DRDO website to receive updates on the latest notifications released regarding the examination.The Tier-I examination is the first phase of the examination for the CEPTAM-11 recruitment drive. The candidates who pass this phase will move on to the next phase of the examination.Notification and Application Schedule for RecruitmentA short notice was issued by DRDO for a recruitment notification for CEPTAM, 11 dated December 2nd, 2025. However, the detailed notification and online application link were only published on December 11th, 2025.Applications are invited for technical posts in DRDO. The application process has been active from 11th December 2025 and will be open till 11th January 2026. The fee payment for the applications can be made until 13th January 2026. The correction facility for already filled applications will be available from 14th January 2026 to 16th January 2026.There are a total of 764 technical posts that need to be filled under this recruitment drive. Out of these, 561 are Senior Technical Assistant-B posts, and 203 are Technician-A posts.

Vacancies, Eligibility, and Stages of SelectionCandidates who applied for the positions of Senior Technical Assistant-B had to be B.Sc. degree holders or engineering diploma holders in their respective fields. For the positions of Technician-A, candidates had to pass Class 10 with an ITI certificate in their respective fields.The age range of applicants varies between 18 and 28 years, with the date of January 1, 2026, being the cutoff date for determining age eligibility. The relaxation of age limits is as per government norms.The recruitment process consists of several stages. Initially, the candidates will go through a screening written examination of Tier, I; then they will take the written examination of Tier, II; after that the skill/trade test will be held; the final stages would be document verification and medical examination for the candidates who have been short, listed through the above process.
