PUP result 2026: Students enrolled at Punjabi University Patiala can now access the latest semester examination outcomes through the university’s official results portal. The university has uploaded results for several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across different semesters.The results are available on the official website, allowing candidates to verify their performance by selecting the relevant course and examination session. The digital publication is intended for immediate information, while the university states that confirmation must be obtained through the official gazette.Courses for which results have been declaredThe newly published results cover programmes from disciplines including computer applications, humanities, sciences, engineering and performing arts. Both traditional courses and programmes structured under the NEP 2020 academic framework are included in the update.Among the postgraduate programmes, the results include the second semester of the two-year Master of Computer Applications course conducted on campus, as well as part-time Master of Technology programmes in Computer Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Several postgraduate honours courses in Indian Dance and Political Science have also been listed.At the undergraduate level, the university has released outcomes for honours programmes in English, Geography and Mathematics under the five-year UG-PG structure aligned with NEP 2020. Result status codes used by the universityThe result sheet includes standard abbreviations used in the university’s examination records. A candidate is declared PASS when the award is shown in the result field. The symbol R indicates a re-appear requirement in the specified paper.PRS denotes “previous result stand” for improvement candidates. Several result-later categories are also listed, including RL-R for pending eligibility confirmation by the Registration Branch and RL-FEE for non-adjustment of fee accounts.Other codes include C.C for candidature cancelled and RL-Lower when the declaration of a lower examination result is awaited. Marks recorded as zero indicate failure in the concerned subject.The university has stated that online results are provisional and cannot be treated as original mark sheets. Official mark sheets are issued separately by the university authorities.
