The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has published the SEBI Grade A prelims scorecard 2026 for the candidates who have appeared for the Phase I examination for the Assistant Manager posts. The scorecard is accessible online for the candidates who have appeared for the examination in General, Legal, Information Technology, Research, Official Language, Engineering (Electrical), and Engineering (Civil) streams.The candidate’s grades in the prelims examination, which is only one part of the recruitment process for the Officer Grade A posts, are listed on the scorecard. The result portal has been launched on SEBI’s official website, and candidates can view and save their scorecards during the prescribed time period.Recruitment process and details of the examinationSEBI, a statutory body under the Parliament Act, is responsible for regulating and developing the Indian securities market and safeguarding the interests of investors. The Grade A Assistant Manager position is the most junior post in the organisation, which entails working in different areas of the organisation.For the present recruitment, the total number of vacancies has been revised to 135 for all notified streams. According to the data, 86, 588 candidates have applied for the SEBI Grade A recruitment. The selection process includes Phase I and Phase II online exams, followed by a Phase III interview.On January 10, 2026, the Phase I online exam was conducted. The candidates who were shortlisted in this phase will take the Phase II exam which is scheduled for February 21, 2026. The dates for the Phase III interview will be informed separately to the shortlisted candidates.Scorecard availability and result timelineThe SEBI Grade A prelims result is out and the scorecard has been uploaded on February 4, 2026. Candidates can download their result from the official SEBI website during the result availability period which started on February 3, 2026, and will close on February 21, 2026.The scorecard will display section, wise as well as overall marks obtained in the prelims exam. The scorecard will serve as an official record of the candidates’ performance in Phase I and will be required for reference in the subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
