The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the provisional answer key for the Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can now check and download the answer key from the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.The JELET 2026 examination was conducted on June 13, 2026. Candidates can use the provisional answer key to compare their responses and estimate their probable scores before the declaration of results.

Objection window open till June 26

Candidates who find any discrepancy in the provisional answer key can raise objections through the online portal. The last date to submit challenges is June 26, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.According to WBJEEB, there is no limit on the number of questions that can be challenged. However, all objections must be submitted in a single session through the online system.A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 per challenged question must be paid online using net banking, debit card, credit card, or Unified Payments Interface (UPI).The board has stated that all submitted objections will be reviewed by subject experts. After examining the challenges, WBJEEB will publish the final answer key. No further requests, communications, or appeals regarding the final answer key will be accepted.

Candidates can follow these steps to check and download the answer key:

  • Click on the “JELET 2026 Answer Key” link available on the homepage.
  • Log in using your application number, password or date of birth, and security pin.
  • The answer key will appear on the screen.
  • Download and save the PDF for future reference.

The symbol helps identify the series of the question booklet allotted to the candidate and should be used while matching answers with the correct answer key.The board has clarified that final scores and ranks will be prepared only on the basis of the reviewed and final answer keys after all valid objections are examined.
