Captain falls ill, IndiGo Doha-BLR flight safely diverts to Muscat
IndiGo flight 6E 1302, operating from Doha to Bengaluru on Sept 3, 2026 was diverted to Muscat due to an urgent requirement of medical attention for one of the operating crew members. The said crew member was attended to by medical team upon landing and is feeling better now.

NEW DELHI: An IndiGo flight operating from Doha to Bengaluru (6E 1302) was diverted to Muscat after the pilot-in-command (PIC) fell ill. An emergency was declared and the aircraft landed in Muscat. The airline is sending another aircraft to Muscat to fly passengers to their destination. The PIC has received medical care and has recovered.“IndiGo flight 6E 1302, operating from Doha to Bengaluru on Sept 3, 2026 was diverted to Muscat due to an urgent requirement of medical attention for one of the operating crew members. The said crew member was attended to by medical team upon landing and is feeling better now,” an IndiGo spokesperson said.
