HTET 2024 candidates with RLV status to undergo biometric verification on June 8 and 9

The Haryana Board of School Education has announced that candidates of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024, whose results were withheld due to incomplete biometric verification, will be given another opportunity to complete the process on June 8 and 9, 2026, at the board headquarters in Bhiwani.Board chairman Dr Pawan Kumar said the HTET 2024 examination was conducted on July 30 and 31, 2025, and the result was declared on November 10. Before the declaration of results, candidates had undergone biometric verification at centres established across various districts of the state.Second opportunity was provided after result declarationAccording to the board, candidates who had not completed biometric verification earlier were provided a second opportunity from November 12 to 14 and again from November 19 to 21, 2025. The verification process during this phase was mandatory for all remaining candidates.The board stated that the results of candidates who failed to complete biometric verification were not declared. Such candidates were marked with RLV, which stands for “Result late due to verification”.Dr Kumar said candidates whose results continue to remain pending due to incomplete verification can now appear at the board headquarters on June 8 and 9 to complete the process. The board clarified that this would apply only to candidates who were absent during the earlier biometric verification schedule.Candidates must carry original documentsThe board has instructed candidates to carry their original photo identity card along with the original admit card while appearing for biometric verification. Entry for the process will not be allowed without these documents.The chairman said all affected candidates would also receive information regarding the biometric verification process on their registered mobile numbers and email addresses provided during the online application process.Results will remain withheld if process is not completedThe board further stated that candidates who fail to complete biometric verification on the notified dates will not have their examination results declared. Officials said the verification process is necessary to complete the result formalities for pending candidates.The Haryana Board of School Education has advised all concerned candidates to report at the board headquarters within the scheduled dates to avoid further delay in the declaration of their HTET 2024 results.
