Every individual has the right to choose medical assistance,” a bench of Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana said.ASG S V Raju, appearing for the Bengal govt, said there were 16 cases pending against Banerjee and apprehended he may not come back. He said govt wanted him to be examined by a medical board. “If it is found that his medical condition warrants travel abroad, we will not object.”
